The Blonde Leading the Blind

By day, Kelly Trent markets high-end graphics and emerging technology books for a publishing company in Indianapolis. Prior to joining the world of publishing, she was a slave to her pager and cell phone as a government spokesperson, most recently, for the City of Indianapolis’ Department of Public Works (where she learned to love the finer points of the wastewater treatment process and to wage a wicked battle against ground-level ozone pollution), and earlier, at the Indiana State Bureau of Motor Vehicles (where she still couldn’t get get a decent head shot for her driver license).  

Since embracing her inner geek and joining the cult of tech, she spends her off hours chasing after her kooky rescue puppies “The Disaster Twins”; antagonizing her husband with ridiculous stories and requests to add more “chick flicks and gangster movies” to their Netflix queue; growing her rockin’ iTunes collection; reading anything written by her absolute favorite authors (Christopher Moore, Anna Maxted, Jane Green, Stephen King, and Jennifer Weiner), power walking the mean streets of Indianapolis, and, of course, blogging her way to online stardom and fame…well, at least in her mom’s eyes.
